Stunning haiga, really one of your best ones. Thx for sharing.
ReplyDeleteThis is just beautiful! What more to say?
ReplyDeleteNow this is great! Can be read from so many different perspectives.
ReplyDeletealoha Christine - yeah. cool. a way fun haiga.
ReplyDeletejust a thought - with all the centering i wonder if it might work as a vertical image. that way there wouldnt be as much white wing space that is the same on both sides?
you could then spread the ku out a little more into the white space above and below - especially if the blossom were pushed maybe up a little so it wasnt exactly centered?
just thinking out loud on this. you may have other reasons why you want it horizontal and it does work.
the image and ku especially work. that's a good match up (imo). and i like the match up with the boarder too. cool.
btw - cool on your dottie dot award too. that was a way fun Moon Viewing Party with awesome ku all around. fun on that - aloha.

Thanks, Rick, for the suggestion. Actually, I never thought about doing it vertically. It never crossed my mind. :-) I'll tinker with it some more to see if it works better.
DeleteYah, I enjoyed the Moon Viewing Party. :-) I joined in two months ago, but my submission was too late. Luckily, this time I made it and I received an award. Thanks to the constant reminders on your blog to visit Haiku Bandit Society.
Aloha!
