So honored and blessed to be the featured artist of Haiku Page! I didn't know that I will be having my own section with all these poems with alcohol ink art below. John Zheng sent me the pdf and I was blown away. :-)
Soon you will be able to view the full issue on the The Haiku Foundation digital library here.
Make the universe your companion, always bearing in mind the true nature of things—mountains and rivers, trees and grasses, and humanity—and enjoy the falling blossoms and the scattering leaves. ~Bashō

Sonic Boom Issue Nine (August 2017)
I don't always remember to submit to Sonic Boom, but whenever I do, I keep my fingers crossed that editor Shloka Shankar would accept at least one of my works. For the most current issue, I have two acceptances, one of which is my very first media art entitled "Wine Moon." I used some cutout pictures, small bottle, shells, net, glitters, distress spray stain, modeling paste, and other media art products. For the finishing touch, I added some digital effects.
Anyone can read the current issue here.

Heart Breaths
Grateful that 11 of my haiku are included in Heart Breaths: Book of Contemporary Haiku. Available to purchase here .
cloud break . . .
a fledgling peeks out
of a cracked shell
***
spring dawn . . .
a baby robin's trill
warms the sunlight
***
tumbling leaves . . .
I drift where grief
takes me today
***
tracing the cracks
on his leather chair . . .
death anniversary
***
this feeling of knowing
you were already gone . . .
murmur of stars
***
spring buds
his pinky finger
slips into mine
***
banjo strings
the night he plucks
the stars
***
fall morning
a lily laps up
a ray of sunshine
***
sunlight slides
from the mountain top . . .
a seagull's call
***
winter dawn
the cry of a hawk
piercing the fog
***
empty sea . . .
in a fisherman's boat
a bucketful of stars
a fledgling peeks out
of a cracked shell
***
spring dawn . . .
a baby robin's trill
warms the sunlight

Balmy Evening
balmy evening
the whisper of her ashes
from the sea
This is one of my two haiku appearing in Aubrie Cox's Yay Words! project, Sea Bandits. If you haven't downloaded your own PDF copy, click here.
