of your long embrace
Make the universe your companion, always bearing in mind the true nature of things—mountains and rivers, trees and grasses, and humanity—and enjoy the falling blossoms and the scattering leaves. ~Bashō
who hasn't had one, and felt this way?
ReplyDeleteNicely written haiku.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Kristjaan! :-)

Ah, summer flings never make sense . . . they just are
ReplyDeleteLike the summer fling...so fitting for the short season ~
ReplyDeleteiknow, that long embrace - means so much on warm breezy summer nights.
ReplyDeleteLike MMT said...it must have been heaven till it lasted...brilliant :)
ReplyDeleteI know.. a long embrace seems more apt for a winter night perhaps ;)
ReplyDeleteThis can be open to different interpretations. :-) It might not be a fling after all. The long embrace could have been just a woman's imagination. ;-) It could be just an ordinary fling, just as short as the summer season.
ReplyDeleteThanks for giving your own opinions here. :-)
