This holiday season, I have countless blessings, one of which is an overwhelming list of published haiku and haiga. I have to pinch myself to believe it! I guess putting up a blog has somehow made me more inspired to submit to different haiku journals.
Here is the list:
1) 2 haiku - A Handful of Stones
2) 1 haiga - Notes From the Gean
3) 1 haiga - One Hundred Gourds
4) 2 haiga - Haigaonline
5) 1 haiga - DailyHaiga
This list has been more than enough, but just two days before Christmas, another blessing has been given to me. My very first and long-awaited article for children can be finally read here in the holiday issue 2011 of Stories For Children Magazine.
I wrote an article entitled "Cool Invention" and a recipe to go with it called "Fruity Yogurt Pops." Make sure to purchase the magazine here. With a very reasonable price, you'll be able to enjoy not only my article and recipe but also a ton of wonderful stories, poems, and activities.
Reminisce your Christmas childhood memories with this holiday issue or give it as a gift to the precious little ones in your life.
I hope your Christmas was as heartwarming and as delightful as mine. :-)
Congratulations on all your publications of 2011, and for more in 2012. :-)
ReplyDeleteCould I just correct that our magazine is called Notes from the Gean?
Your splendid haiga is here:

all my best,

Thank you for the correction, Alan! I should be more careful when I type :-) Actually, I have already posted my two haiga here in my blog and I'm sure I did type the right name of the magazine.
ReplyDeleteThank you, too, for visiting my blog and for the generous comments. :-)
Wishing you all the best this new year!
