I know I've expressed it here and in another post that I love Hawaii and that I envy you.

One time it rained while we were there. Actually, it was just a short drizzle. The weather was gorgeous! Yah, maybe one day I'll be able to get to see the other islands. Next time I'd like to see a less commercialized area. Christine "Chrissi" L. I really enjoyed the weather, the festive atmosphere (hula shows and tourists everywhere!), and the relaxing feel of the sand and the breeze. I wish it were cheaper to live there. :-)

You weren't late in submitting the ballots. :-) Thanks!

I'll try to find time to play some more in the 30 Days of Haiga. exactly. i ...yes, i live in Hawaii at the moment.

exactly. i was raised on "the mainland" - which is what locals call the mainland USA - but i've lived here for almost 25 years now.

yeah, too i dont always choose a photo i've just taken. if something i have suits my intent in some other way i'll select that one.

being in hawaii sometimes it's hard for me to find something i've photographed that gives a sense of winter elsewhere. altho i do have plenty of options, most are not recent.

oh. i like that - tracks of time - branches of time - branches of trees.

cool on sharing more.

i got the ballet for your contest. i'm just way behind getting around. sheesh. i hope i havnt missed it yet?

i am delighted you are playing in the 30 Days of Haiga - thank you. aloha. I chose this photo although branches are not bare yet at this time of the year because I want to express emptiness. The lines also are like the traces of time.
Thanks for checking out my haiga.
